GAME RECAP: Barnstormers vs. Blizzard
DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers were downed by the Green Bay Blizzard 65-21 on Saturday at the Casey's Center in Des Moines.
Wideout Jalal Dean came down with a touchdown reception to put Iowa on the board in the first quarter, going over the boards to secure the ball.
Dean would finish with two receiving touchdowns as well as a team-high six receptions for 77 yards.
Aaron Aiken made his Barnstormers debut at the quarterback spot, completing 13 of 24 passes for 143 yards, with two touchdowns through the air and another on the ground.
Nathan Rosario-Santos led the way defensively, securing six tackles for the Barnstormers.
Iowa will return to the field for its final road game of the season on Saturday, July 18 to take on the Jacksonville Sharks at Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Florida. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT and can be seen live on Yahoo! Sports.
The Barnstormers will wrap up the 2026 season with their last home game of the year on Friday, July 24 against San Antonio (7 p.m. CT, Overnght Media).
