GAME PREVIEW: Barnstormers vs. Sharks

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers return home to face off with a longtime foe in the Jacksonville Sharks this Friday, May 22 at Casey's Center as the team celebrates Military Night (7:00 p.m., Overnght Media).

It's the eighth meeting all-time between Iowa and Jacksonville.

Iowa won its last home game in a cross-state rivalry against Quad City, and look to continue the momentum this week.

Barnstormers quarterback Dante Avilas-Santos has burst onto the scene, with a pair of standout games since taking the starting quarterback position.

Aviles-Santos has had multiple passing touchdowns in each of his two starts, and was aided on Sunday by a ground-and-pound game from running back David Elder.

On the defensive side of the ball, Jon Adams Jr. continues to anchor the defense with a pair of interceptions alongside captain Tyler Tate.
