GAME PREVIEW: Barnstormers vs Steamwheelers
DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers return to the Casey's Center Saturday to face off with its cross-state rival in the Quad City Steamwheelers (5 p.m., Overnght Media).
Saturday marks the 22nd meeting between the two teams all-time, as well as the 16th meeting between them as members of the Indoor Football League.
Quarterback Ivan Corbin is coming off his best game of the season – one that saw him score five rushing touchdowns himself.
Corbin has found success in scrambling, rushing for 95 yards his last time out including a 32-yard touchdown that highlighted the game.
In the receiving room, Donald McKinney currently sits second in the league with 11 yards per catch, hoping to continue his strong start this weekend.
On the defensive side of the ball, defensive back Jon Adams Jr. made his Barnstormers debut Saturday and hauled in an interception.
Saturday's game marks the earliest home kickoff time in Barnstormers history, with the game set to start at 5:00 p.m.
