Bio
Alexandra Cruz Koenig, a proud Des Moines native and alumna of the University of Hawai'i at Hilo, brings years of experience in community fundraising and nonprofit partnership development to her new role as Director of Partnerships with the Iowa Barnstormers. Having worked both locally and nationally with beloved community organizations to drive impact, build meaningful relationships, and mobilize supporters, she's passionate about connecting people to purpose and turning big ideas into real community impact.
For the past three football seasons, she's also been one of the team's biggest cheerleaders - literally - bringing energy, spirit, and a whole lot of heart to game day. Outside of the arena, you can find her flowing at PowerLife Yoga, grabbing some local bites at the Des Moines Farmers Market, or at home with her cats, King Louie and Prince Pickles. For Alex, life is fueled by balance, community, a little sparkle - and yes, a bit of cat fur!
