Matt Strawn

Matt Strawn, member of the Barnstormers ownership group, is a fifth generation Iowan and Eastern Iowa native. He resides with his wife, Erin, and their three small children in Ankeny. Matt is a founding partner of Riverside Partners, Inc., an-Ankeny based public relations and capital development firm, as well as part of the management of Nathan Strawn Farms, Inc., which operates his family’s farm in Eastern Iowa.When not making the rounds throughout Iowa speaking to breakfast clubs, fraternal organizations and community groups about Barnstormers football, one can find Matt hanging out with his family and friends, tailgating Saturdays in the fall at Kinnick Stadium, hopelessly cheering for the Kansas City Royals. Matt is a member of the Arena Football League Board of Directors, the Des Moines Area Sports Commission Board of Directors, and a Director of the Iowa Barnstormers Charitable Foundation. Matt is a graduate of the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law (J.D. 2003), the University of Iowa (B.A. 1996), and Benton Community High School (Van Horne, Iowa), where he is a member of the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
