Jones, Roland Earn All-Indoor Football League Honors
Barnstormers Named First and Second Team Selections

DES MOINES – Concluding the 2015 Indoor Football League regular season play, two Iowa Barnstormers standouts have been selected to All-IFL teams, the League announced today. Linebacker Javicz Jones has earned a First Team selection while wide receiver Brady Roland was named to the Second Team.

The Iowa Barnstormers are one of five Indoor Football League teams to have two all-league selections. Javicz Jones (6-0, 230, Mary Hardin Baylor) earns a First Team Selection for the Iowa Barnstormers after being named to the All-IFL Second Team in 2014. Jones led the Iowa defense and rounded out the season with 97.5 total tackles including 14.5 tackles for a loss of 37 yards, three quarterback sacks, three pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and 2 blocked kicks. Additionally, the second-year veteran earned weekly honors on two occasions, one for defense and another for his special teams performance.

Brady Roland (6-2, 185, Grand View University) has been named to the Second Team All-IFL after his rookie season performance. Despite missing two games due to injury, Roland was one of the Barnstormers key offensive weapons throughout the season. In twelve games, he collected 53 receptions for 664 yards and fourteen touchdowns.
